Griffith Park – Natural Oasis in the big city

Burbank is close to so much nature and so much city… case in point, Griffith Park. Griffith Park runs the length of Burbank’s southern border, and is easily accessible by car, horse, foot, bike, and more. So much to do in Griffith Park – trains, zoo, live steamers, picnic areas, playgrounds, trails, ponies and horses, Griffith Observatory, Greek Theatre, live music, running events, birthday parties, Autry Museum, drum circle Sundays, and more! Ride your horse from Burbank’s Rancho into the park, pull over in your car and rest under a shady tree on a hot day, hike to Amir’s Garden and survey the wonderful flowers and plants and incredible view.

Griffith Park is the one of the best aspects Los Angeles has to offer. http://www.laparks.org/dos/parks/griffithPK/index.htm

Burbank city also has a birthday hosting service too.

Brace Canyon boasts tennis and basketball courts, a fenced grassy sports field for baseball and soccer, and a regulation size track. Fun Fun Fun!

Circle K Ranch – Burbank’s Rancho & Griffith Park Horse Rentals

Circle K Ranch is a terrific resource for a quality horse riding experience. They are the closest stables to the Griffith Park trails, so riders get more time in the park and spend less time riding through the Rancho to get there. Kid friendly (must be 7 years and older and wear a helmet) and adult friendly, Circle K has gentle horses and knowledgeable guides. Circle K is also recommended by several horse owners that live and/or stable horses in Burbank’s Rancho area as well, for their cleanliness and good care of their horses.
